Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Salisbury Cathedral. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The dining experience, although needing improvement in breakfast options, was overall good. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, had some minor issues like noise and limited hanging space, affecting the 4-star feel. Overall, a convenient choice for exploring Salisbury and the surrounding area.
My stay at the hotel was quite a mixed experience. The room was not as spacious as expected, being more like a single room with a double bed rather than a king room; The constant noise from the crashing fire door near my room was disturbing throughout the night. The location was ideal, right in the heart of Salisbury with easy access to various amenities. The dining experience had its ups and downs; while the food looked delicious, options were limited for certain guests but still provided a satisfactory meal. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is cozy but lacks soundproofing in the rooms. The service was exceptional and included a nice surprise. The location is ideal for exploring Salisbury, though parking can be limited. The dining experience had some disappointments due to current restrictions. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly staff in a convenient location.
The hotel rooms off the garden were in the courtyard and nice and private, providing a snug atmosphere with the TV on the wall, perfect for relaxing before a night out. However, the rooms were a bit tight and had a fausty smell, needing better ventilation. The service was exceptional, with the staff going out of their way to make our 50th-anniversary celebration special. The location was great for exploring Salisbury, although the night lighting was inadequate in winter. The facilities were satisfactory, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very quiet, spacious, and comfortable, equipped with everything I might need, but my room was tiny, more like a single room with a double bed. The service was excellent from the reception to the bar staff, very welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The location was brilliant, right in the center without the noise, and near all the facilities in Salisbury city center. The dining experience was a bit hit or miss, with wonderfully cooked poached eggs but some delays. Overall, a good stay with some minor downsides.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag of experiences. The room was huge with a lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed, but being far from reception and having no lift could be an issue for those with mobility problems. The friendly service was fantastic and went above-and-beyond to assist us, but some TV channels didn't work. The location was good for exploring the city, especially for visiting Salisbury and its attractions, but it was a bit of a trek from the train station. The dining experience offered delicious food but was a bit pricey if you only wanted a light breakfast. Overall, the hotel provided adequate value for the price paid considering its citywise location.
